Michael Alig; How he's doing now
I received a
letter from Michael, but no new information is known. He is still anxiously waiting
on the results of his Hearing. He is asking for certain people to come visit
without knowing that everyone wants to come! It’s very hard to schedule visits
when he can only have them one day a week! I’m hoping he is released from the
SHU by now, but if not, I’ll know more information in a couple of days. Communication
is quite difficult for Michael when he can’t use the phone! Lovepurple
Is it likely that he'll have been released from SHU? I was under the impression that he was looking at at least months, if not a year. I have all too much experience with drug addiction, so I understand, but I can't help but be so frustrated this happened.

I hope to know more tonight, as I let 2 other people visit him today in my place. Many people want to go visit, but while in the SHU he can only have visits one day a week.
The last known from his letter was what you mentioned, months to a year. I'm waiting on the official word from his hearing. I really hope it's three months, as he may get to stay at Eastern if it is that short. They are very humane there, even while Michael has been in the SHU!
