Michael's SHU time reduced

Michael had a visit today, and I received some information about him. So far Michael’s punishment of 4 yrs SHU time has been reduced twice down to 27 months, and he expects it may be reduced all the way down to 9 to 13 months.

 He is still on a lot of medication which keeps him calm. I’ve told him before I think being on the meds is better than spending every minute being manic and worrying about things he can’t change. I am glad he’s on them, and hope he continues so he can get through this SHU time and get out.

    Addiction is such a horrible condition to be in. But, so many people have had a drug problem and pulled through it and moved on to a productive life, and I think Michael will do the same.
