Michael Alig in Bad situation at Southport
Since Michael has
been in Southport, he has gotten his original SHU time reduced to 8-12 months,
(with good time) but has been given another year because he was unable to pee
on command. Who can go when there's guards standing there yelling at him and
his hands are shackled to a waist chain! He thought no way could they give him
a ticket, but they did. He didn't refuse to do it, but they refused to let him
try later on. Michael felt he
was unable to pee on command because of the side effects from all the medications
he’s currently on. To prove this, I sent Michael lists of all side effects of
the medications, but the Hearing Officer still is refusing to throw the ticket
out. Michael has had Medical staff support him on this, but that’s still not
enough for the hearing officer. Michael has
been informing me a little each letter how badly he’s being treated there by
the guards. There’s sexual harassment, and a lot of negative “Party Monster
movie” references. Because of all of this, and on top of the bad living
conditions of a SHU prison, Michael’s Mental Health has plummeted. Michael is
writing letters looking for help from prison advocacy and mental health
organizations, and has asked me to help him also. If anyone else is able to
find a way to help him please write and let him know. Some of his neighbors in that prison have less
time than him, and they have stabbed people on the prison yard! Besides that,
this latest issue with getting an extra 12 months for being medically unable to
urinate on command is most definitely not a fair charge or punishment! Lovepurple

Sorry for the confusion! I'm glad you continue to write to Michael as he really needs his friends to stick by him now! I will be updating on here much more than the message board so keep checking back!

You may ask any questions you like! The person that runs the Board you are talking about told me she was moving, and then she was gone. No one was left to run it, and none of the Moderators (the ones I asked) knew how to approve new members or how to do any moderator jobs, so the Board fell into disarray. Now it appears she is back and has put the Board into "
I helped contribute to the Board but never ran it. I prefer a more civil place where the people are there because they like Michael, so I started this Blog in order to keep his friends and Fans informed without any drama.

I live in wv bit i will do any leg work that i can to help you get michael back home! Plz all u have to do is ask and consider it done. Im so glad you have this blog. It's so frustrating that we can't do anything to help get Michael home. The prison system has no common sense!
For now to help him please continue to send him encouraging letters! You can always send books and magazines as keeping his mind busy there is very important!
