Michael Alig's time in the SHU at Southport is winding down, as the count is under 100 days. He did receive time cuts (the prison deducts time for certain reasons) and he expects to receive 2 more time cuts in the near future. His visits have not been as plentiful lately, but he is getting at least 2 or 3 people a month, not 4 as it once was. It is a very long drive from NYC to Pine City NY, so it's hard for Michael to expect to have a visitor every week. He appreciates everyone who has come all that way to spend time with him.

Michael was visited by his book Editor this past weekend, so editing his book is now a priority once again! His plan has always been to have it published when he's released, so that is still the plan. He's not sure yet when he'll be released from Prison on Parole, but it should still be in 2010.
