Light at the end of the tunnel for Michael Alig

Michael Alig is eagerly awaiting his time cut hearing where he will learn the date he
can leave his lockdown Cell at Southport Correctional and be transferred back to a Maximum Security Prison! He can see the light at the end of the tunnel for once, but he still worries (as do all the inmates in there) that he won’t be given all his Good Time back in order to leave there in December.

Once he's transferred back to a normal  prison I believe (unless they do all this in October) he'll have another time cut hearing that looks at his entire time in Prison. If he receives all of his Good Time back, he will be released from prison on his Conditional Release date which is 3/30/10.

Before Michael got himself in trouble this past April, he was in line to get out in March 2010. There is still a chance he could get out then, but if he doesn't I feel (my opinion based on Criminal Justice knowledge) he will still get out some time in 2010. Michael has not had any write ups for violence in his entire time in prison, so that fact will be in his favor.

I will update this info as soon as I get it from Michael. For the new people reading, here's Michael's address as many people have been asking for it. Please  remember, any mail sent to Michael must have your full name and address on the envelope or he will not get it! The prison doesn't not make exceptions!
