Michael has received his time cuts (his time in there being cut for being good) and right now it looks like he'll get to leave Southport around Dec 22nd. That would make it around 8 months he will have served "in the Hole," the place no one wants to be.

His time in there has been very hard, as it's supposed to be. He managed to adjust the best he could as it's easier to do the time if he's thinks positive.  I noticed a big change in his demeanor a few weeks ago when he was without a light in his Cell for 13 days! I was worried for him, as he had managed  to keep his head together up until then, but the lack of light really got to him.

Soon he will also know how much "Good Time" he'll receive back, as some was taken throughout his 13 years when he got into trouble. When he knows that, he will know a tentative date when he'll be able to leave the NY State Prison system.
