Michael had been waiting for his Good Time decision, and he got it today. It basically said to come back after his 6 month drug treatment is completed. Even though it's not a solid "yes, you'll get out after completing treatment," it's the closest thing to it. They could have told him to come back in 2 years! Michael's counselor feels this is very positive, and the reason why they just didn't give him his good time back now was because of his write-ups for using drugs. They want to see him in treatment, and that he can complete it. Michael is still waiting to get in!
 

He is officially still in "Reception" but has been given a job. Michael is a Porter, (12 hours a day 7 days a week) a job most inmates love because they can be out of their Cell all day moving around while working. Michael of course doesn't go with the norm, and would rather be in his Cell most of the day painting! Writing is also high on his agenda, but he couldn't paint for the past 8 months so he's eager to start again!
 

So Michael maybe making an appearance in NYC this summer, a permanent one! I'm sure he'll want me to say that this is my opinion, nothing is solid yet. One thing is for real, that for once Michael is thinking positive and finally believing that the end is near, he will have another shot at life.
