Michael is expecting Interview Magazine this week to come to Coxsackie to interview him. He's happy that there's interest in him, especially since he may be released this year. Otherwise, Michael still awaits an opening in the drug program. He keeps busy with writing and painting. 

I'm back to my old shopping routine for Michael. Picking out food he can have,especially fresh fruit and veggies. There's a lot of rules for sending home packages to prison, and they can change without prior knowledge. Unfortunately there's a food package limit, that's why it's better that only one person send the food as it's easier to keep track that way. Otherwise, any extra packages would just be thrown away, or sent back at Michael's expense. 

Michael loves visitors, so if you're close enough to go, please email me at comments@michaelaligblog.com. There are Prison Buses on the weekends, along with Amtrak & a Taxi ride if you don't drive. I only assist with visiting so that no one is turned away at the prison gate because a visitor is already inside.
