Michael Alig attacked today in prison
Michael was attacked today, and for this he's being punished! (probably 30 days) That seems to be the rule in prison, if someone starts to hurt and/or kill you, to not be punished, you should get in the fetal position, or call for a Guard. Calling for a Guard makes you a snitch, which will get you hurt again!
Prison does not make sense!
I really don't know how bad he is, but he's not in the hospital. He was not attacked with a weapon.
Michael had been telling me over the past weeks that trouble was looming, and he planned on avoiding it by not going outside. That meant he couldn't make many phone calls,but staying out of trouble was more important.
He is asking for visitors!!!!!!! He's in his Cell 23 hrs a day, so a visit will break up his day. Please, if you can go this month, email me and let me know when you can go. comments@michaelaligblog.com
If you planned on sending him a Birthday gift, please save it, as he's not allowed packages while on "Keeplock." If you visit, same thing, he can't receive anything, only vending machine food during the visit.
Lets help him get through this bump in the road with lots of letters and visits!

The inmate I spoke to said Michael is ok. He's not in the hospital, so that's a good thing. He didn't think any weapons were involved. Michael needs letters of support, and visits! I know Michael, and I'm sure he's very upset now!

Uh-oh...goddamnit. Do you know why that guy attacked him? I know in there...there are no reasons sometimes. That's fucked up. Michael didn't fight back did he? I hope for his sake this makes no drastic changes. This was dissappointing to read. I'm gonna write him soon. He's strong..he gets through everything bur I'm sure by now it's extremely tiring. If you talk to him on the phone can you tell him I said to keep his head up and I send xo. He needs to stay positive. He's not alone, he'll get through this. Lets hope that person will leave him alone for now on...what a prick. Well hope you are well Jojo. Tnx for the update. <3

This makes me sick to my stomach, this close to his release! I just wrote him yesterday so, I hope it will cheer him up. I can say that when I saw Coxackie it looked like an awful place. I think of Michael every day and wish the best for him.
