I got a letter from Michael yesterday. He's doing very well considering the latest news. He plans to paint, a lot. He said that in December he's eligible for a transfer to medium security. Hopefully that happens so he can be closer to friends in the city and there will be a program he can do or something. There are no more programs for him to take at Coxsackie. I think he'll be fine. He's strong and he's being very positive.

Jax, Thank you for the update! I couldn't have said it better. It could be a risk going to Medium Security, as the Conditional Release Committee won't know him as well, and Michael will no longer know that they'll say yes next year as he knows they will in Coxsackie. But, Michael is stuck in a Cell 23 hrs a day now and that has affected him negatively. I hope being closer to NYC will bring visitors, as no one from NYC has visited him since his bad news. I hope his friends will make time for him soon, real soon!

Ohh, that's not good... That's a hard decision to make. Idk. I don't see why no one in town has visited him yet! If I lived there I'd visit him every week. Anyways, I hope he hold sup in here and continues to think clearly. :/

I just watched a program detailing the life of Michael and to say the least, I am quite intrigued. I am interested in reading more about him.

Which program did you watch? Getting to know him would also be intriguing! When and if you're ready, write him a letter!

I watched the same program, it was American Justice. Very interesting, I had actually seen it before and it prompted me to watch party monster which I also found interesting. I am curious to see what Michael will do with his life outside of prison, he has a way with people that can help him to do a lot of good. Thanks for the upadtes.

I enjoyed that show as well. It's too bad that we'll wait even longer now for his book, and that will be very interesting! Michael will have an art show when released as he has a lot of paintings ready. He'll have many options, as he already did when he thought he was getting out last month!
