Message from Michael's Lawyer
This is an update from Michael's new Lawyer....
"I went to Visit Michael today.. and Inmate records stated they lost my paperwork, and I would have to reschedule for another appointment. Even though I had the paper work on hand with me at the time of the Visit. Southport, is not a easy place to deal with. I know they have my paperwork cause after I faxed my credentials over, the woman in inmate records called me back to confirm they got my paper work. so now I have to file a summons for me to get into to see Michael. I got the paper work today.. So hope fully I will get in thursday, or friday."

This does not even surprise me. the staff at south-port is unbelievable ignorant and just enjoy pushing their power around. I have had to deal with this, just imagine what michael has to go through.

I heard prison officials pull games like that if a person isn't an actual lawyer. Are you a lawyer that's passed the "BAR" or just an ex lawyer or law student? Don't take it the wrong way but i know that happens.

I am indeed a lawyer, Graduated from NYU, and Brooklyn Law School. I have Taken the Bar, In NY, NJ, CT, MA,NH and DC. due to the fact that is where all of my family lives. just for the case if something were to go wrong, I could help them by any mean. I know the Law, I have been reviewing all reports from the past on this case, to find any mistakes. I have a NYS supreme court judge in my back pocket who has been signing all my warrants, summons, and subpoena's. I graduated boarding school with his son. He has been a great deal of help. I promised to keep his name out of this online, or with anyone else but who is receiving the paperwork. I am still a active Lawyer so no worries about that there. and I have made more lead way than any of his other lawyer have in 2 weeks than they did in years. Mrs. Alig, has been updated every day by me. she know my moves and tactics and what will happen next. We all need to have some faith, in Michael, My tactics, and have faith in his family, and me..

Is he honestly getting out??? I've only heard of what he did from that weird movie "Party Monster" I'm too young to remember anything from the actual time. Is that seriously how it went down??

There's also a Documentary called "Party Monster - The Shockumentary " that you should watch, as it's low budget and more reality.
Michael is writing his book which should be out after he is released, in that you'll get the whole story!
He will be out one day! He should have been released already, but one person in Albany didn't let that happen last Fall. It may not be this year as we hoped, but you never know!

Hey... I'd like to send Michael a letter. I'd also like to send him a couple other things in the package.
This is my first time writing him. Could someone please answer a few questions to help me out --
1) Tapes or CDs?
2) Can I send him pens? Stamps? Magazines?
My plan was to send him a package with some cassettes, some magazines, some pens, some paper, and a stamped envelope so that he could reply.
Will this be OK with the prison?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Michael really needs letters now, but he can't get packages while at Southport. He can receive books, magazines and newspapers, and he really needs these to keep his mind busy and stay sane!
You can never send him (or any inmate) stamps, but you can send him a money order and then he can buy stamps at the prison.
No music now, no pens, never are any envelopes allowed in.
It's so nice of you to offer to send him things! He really needs supportive and encouraging letters now, as Southport is not a nice place to be.
Make sure you have your full name and return address on the envelope.

If I were to send him a book or magazine, could it be sent in the same envelope as the letter? Are there any restrictions or guidelines I need to keep in mind?

You should send a letter in a regular envelope, and mags and books together as they are inspected differently.

Man, this is so lame. Southport sounds HORRIBLE, and for what?
I know Michael was framed by a bunch of jerks, but even if someone DOES have a joint, how does that in any way mean they should be in a supermax facility? It makes no sense.

I totally agree with you! Why should he be in a place where others are there for trying to kill someone, in prison! Maybe they should be there, but not under those conditions either! The prison system must change!
