Michael has
visitors the following days;
Saturday October 1st (so no one can go on Sunday September 25th)
Saturday October 8th ( So no one can visit Sunday October 2nd)
Saturday October 29th (So no one can visit Sunday October 23rd)

Saturday December 24th (so no one can visit Sunday December 18th)
Sunday December 25th (so no one can visit Saturday December 31st)
Michael is only allowed one visit per week, and the week runs Sunday through Saturday. That is why I list the other day that he can't have visitors that week, as if you show up there, they won't let you in. They make NO EXCEPTIONS!
Please email me at comments@michaelaligblog.com to reserve your visiting time. You must be 18 to visit.
Please send letters and cards separate from any packages containing books and/or magazines. Your letter will be sent back to you at Michael's expense, or thrown away.
You must put your full name and address on every piece of mail you send to Michael, or he will not get it! The prison makes NO exceptions!

I had my first visit with Michael on Saturday and it went very well. One thing I learned about his is that he loves chocolate anything. I must remember to get there earlier to buy all the good chocolate from the vending machines

Yes, the most important thing when you first arrive in the visiting area is to get Michael's favorite foods! He's picky, so the hundred packages of chicken wings that fill the machines he could care less about. Thank you for sharing about your visit!

Is Michael getting out soon??? Just wondering cause it will be interesting to see where life now takes him. Does he have plans for once he gets out yet? I wish him the very best!!!

Michael hopes to be released some time next year, but he really doesn't know yet.
He plans to show his paintings, as he's painted many over the years!
There is a Documentary film crew that has already started filming him, and will resume when he's released.
He has many ideas to explore in the entertainment industry.
He plans to live in NYC, to comply with all his Parole rules, and to stay drug free.

How long was your visit Lisa. How long can a person see Michael if they're the only one seeing him that day? Were you nervous?
What's he like after all these years?
Were you allowed to hug him? Some prisons will not allow hugs and hand holding at all.

I hope Lisa will answer your questions, but I just want to explain that this prison is much different from others. There's no hugs there, but when he's in a regular maximum or medium security prison hugs are allowed in the beginning and at the end of the visit. You can even do hand holding and caressing, well on his arm or hand. Michael is Gay of course, but I'm a friend that cares about him, and want him to feel as much affection as possible during a visit because he doesn't get it any other way! It's a chance for him to be normal for a little while.
